About

Recovering the old paths for ordinary Christians.

Vigil Fire Press exists to place beautiful, serious, accessible Anglican Catholic resources into the hands of families, parishes, and seekers.

What we publish

Devotional books, parish study editions, and quietly beautiful editions of classic Christian texts — Athanasius, Gregory of Nyssa, George Herbert — alongside new seasonal companions for Advent, Lent, and Trinitytide.

Why Anglican Catholic

Because the Prayer Book tradition is not a museum piece. It is a living rule of prayer that has formed saints for five hundred years and still does. We publish for the parishes, the missions, and the families who are still learning to pray it.

Why the Church year

The Church does not merely mark time; she sanctifies it. Each season teaches us how to watch, repent, rejoice, and pray. Our books are written for the rhythm she has given us.

Why books still matter

Because books slow us down, and the gospel is not a feed. A small, beautiful volume kept beside the Prayer Book will form a Christian over a lifetime.

Our hope for parishes and families

That Christians would once again read together, pray the offices together, and keep the seasons together — at the kitchen table, in the parish hall, and around the altar.
